ISWAN (International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network), in collaboration with ISWAN India Association, is delivering a range of interactive sessions designed to support the wellbeing of seafarers, their families, and the shore staff who work alongside them.

From equipping cadets with the awareness they need before their first voyage, to supporting seafarers’ families at home, ISWAN’s programmes are built around the real needs of the maritime community.

Upcoming open online sessions for 2026 include the Family Outreach Programme (6 June, 4 July, 1 August); Seafarer Education Awareness Session (12 June, 17 July, 21 August); and TOGETHER IN CARE: Enhancing the Wellbeing of Seafarers, Families, and Shore Staff (19 June, 4 September).

Sessions are open to nominations from shipping companies, unions, and partner organisations in India. Registrations close one week before the session in question. For further details see ISWAN website.
