On May 12, a reporter learned from Zhongyu Port Group that three containers loaded with Vietnamese cashews were successfully dispatched from the Zhengzhou International Land Port Jingkai Area. This marks the first Central Asia rail-road transit cargo handled by Henan Zhongyu Logistics Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the group, signifying the addition of a new logistics corridor for cross-border multimodal transport in Henan.
As transit food cargo, cashews have extremely high requirements for transportation timeliness, seamless connections throughout the process, and safety. The traditional train model, constrained by scheduling and waiting cycles, can easily affect the delivery quality of food products. Facing multiple challenges, the logistics group integrated sea, road, and rail resources, breaking free from the constraints of train schedules, achieving immediate connection upon arrival at the port and immediate dispatch upon arrival in Zhengzhou, significantly reducing assembly time in Zhengzhou and effectively ensuring cargo quality.
The reporter learned that this transport involved multiple stages, with the full route as follows: Vietnam by sea—Qingdao Port white card connection—Zhengzhou Putian railway dispatch—Shule transshipment—Irkeshtam Port exit—Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Next, Henan Zhongyu Logistics Group Co., Ltd. will leverage its logistics expertise and port cooperation foundation to optimize customs clearance procedures, improve transshipment efficiency, and ensure the safe delivery of the first container of cargo.
