ClassNK obtained authorization from the French General Directorate for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture to carry out inspections on vessels flying the flag of that country.
With this authorization, ClassNK can now perform statutory inspections and issue certificates for vessels with that flag on behalf of its Government, in accordance with the requirements of international conventions, including Solas, Marpol and the International Convention on Load Lines.
As a result, ClassNK can now offer a comprehensive service for vessels flying the French flag, which includes classification, statutory inspections and certification.
Furthermore, ClassNK has received delegated authority from more than 100 countries and regions around the world to carry out statutory inspections and issue certificates under international conventions on their behalf, including numerous European nations.
As a society recognized and authorized by the French government, ClassNK will contribute to the safety and regulatory compliance of vessels with that denomination.
