The docks of Cruise Gate Hamburg, in Germany, simultaneously received the cruise ships MS Amadea, belonging to the German shipping company Phoenix Reisen, and MS Europa, from Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, also a company from that country, to carry out the first double call at the HafenCity Cruise Terminal.
“This is a milestone for the terminal and a reflection of Hamburg’s growing attractiveness as a cruise destination,” stated CGH.
The authorities noted that both passenger ships visit the Port of Hamburg regularly. “Welcoming their guests at HafenCity is a great pleasure. The terminal offers a strong first welcome to the destination, and we are proud to be that gateway to one of the most vibrant port cities in Europe,” added Cruise Gate Hamburg.
