On June 29, 2026, the original aqueduct channel of the Huai’an section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal water interchange officially resumed navigation at 12:00 today, while the temporary navigation open channel was closed. The Huai’an water interchange aqueduct reconstruction project of the Huaihe River seawater diversion channel phase II project, from February 22, 2025, to June 25, 2026, has been fully completed and now officially resumes navigation.
