On June 30, China Merchants Shipyard Qingdao held a naming ceremony for the 20th 82,000 DWT bulk carrier built for Greek company LAVINIA. The ship’s godmother, Ms. Linda, LAVINIA’s newbuilding manager Nikolaos Konstantinidis, the company’s deputy general manager Ni Weisong, the owner’s supervision team, project team, and company employee representatives attended the ceremony.
Nikolaos Konstantinidis highly praised the shipbuilding quality and project management level, and expressed sincere gratitude for the hard work of all shipyard employees.
The ship’s godmother, Ms. Linda, named the vessel “FAETHON” and offered best wishes, hoping that the ship will sail across the seas, brave the wind and waves, and enjoy safe voyages in the future.
