The UGS held a meeting today at its offices, where the President of the UGS, Ms Melina Travlos, welcomed the President of DNV – Maritime, Mr Remi Eriksen, accompanied by Mr Knut Orbeck-Nilssen, CEO Maritime, Mr Ioannis Chitopoulos, Senior Vice President, Regional Manager South East Europe, Middle East & Africa and Yiorgos Teriakidis, Area Manager Eastern Mediterranean & Black Sea Maritime Region South East Europe, Middle East & Africa. The UGS President accompanied Mr Dimitris Fafalios, Mr Ioannis Liras and Dr Ioannis Kousta, President of the Greek National Committee of DNV.
During the meeting, special reference was made to DNV’s technical assistance to the UGS on a number of issues, with an emphasis on the energy transition of shipping. Both sides reaffirmed their intention to continue their constructive cooperation.
