On June 2, Nantong Xiangyu Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineeringsigned a memorandum of strategic cooperation with Anhui Chizhou Jiuhua Shippingand Xiamen PortAuthority.The three parties will explore cooperationin ship construction, transportation operation, ship financingand other fields.
Xiangyuwas entrusted by Jiuhua Shipping tobuildsix 79,900dwt bulk carriers, and Xiangyu Financial Holdings, a subsidiary of XiangyuGroup, provided them with comprehensive financial services.
Jiuhua Shippingwas established in 2003. It is mainly engaged in domestic offshore transportation and Yangtze River transportation. The current capacity of various ships exceeds 900,000dwt.
