AmaLilia will be a sister of AmaDahlia
AmaWaterways is planning a second Nile River vessel, AmaLilia, to enter service in 2024.
The company announced the news on the heels of AmaDahlia completing its inaugural Nile season last week.
Like AmaDahlia, AmaLilia — named after the sacred blue water lily of ancient Egypt —will sail the ‘Secrets of Egypt & Nile’ itinerary, an 11-night cruise and land experience including a seven-night round-trip river cruise from Luxor paired with three nights pre- and one-night post-cruise stays in Cairo.
Regionally inspired décor, dining
Like AmaDahlia, AmaLilia will be designed with regionally inspired décor, spacious staterooms and suites, and a specialty restaurant included in thefare.
‘Egypt is one of the most fascinating destinations in the world and we’ve seen such wonderful interest from both our loyal guests as well as new guests since we launched our first ship there in September 2021,’ said Kristin Karst, EVP and co-founder of AmaWaterways.
