The Greek-flagged VLCC “Sophia” of Maran Tankers loaded 1 million barrels from the FPSO One Guyana on November 3, along with 800,000 barrels of Liza.
According to the S&P Global Platts platform, the combined cargo is destined for Sinopec’s Guangzhou Petrochemical refinery and is expected to arrive within the month.
The oil is produced by a consortium of ExxonMobil, Chevron and CNOOC, while sales to Thai and Indian buyers have also been recorded recently.
