Accelleron is deepening its role in maritime digitalisation through a new partnership with Korean software firm LAB021. The deal connects two major players in ship performance and management technology, giving Korean shipbuilders and owners broader access to integrated optimisation tools.
Accelleron has signed an agreement with maritime software developer LAB021 to extend the reach of its digital solutions among Korean shipbuilders, owners and operators. The partnership brings Accelleron’s LOREKA360° digital optimisation platform to users of LAB021’s Vessellink system, which already supports more than 700 vessels worldwide.
The collaboration allows LAB021 to offer Accelleron’s suite of performance tools directly to its customers, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance capabilities. In return, Accelleron will promote Vessellink to its own network of clients, aiming to strengthen the connection between ship management and digital performance monitoring.
“Korean shipyards build some of the most technically advanced vessels in the world,” said Shailesh Shirsekar, Accelleron’s Global Head of Sales and Operations, Digital Solutions. “Working with LAB021, we can advance the integration of ship management and performance optimisation solutions, and showcase the resulting efficiencies widely in one of the world’s key shipbuilding and ship owning countries. We look forward to a fruitful cooperation that will contribute to lower costs and emissions for our joint customers.”
The agreement covers three modules from LOREKA360°: Tekomar XPERT Engine, which assesses engine performance and provides advisory insights; Emissions Desk, which converts vessel data into compliance reporting and reduction strategies; and OptiHull, which optimises hull cleaning schedules based on voyage data, hull condition and potential fuel savings.
LAB021’s Vessellink system, known for its marine-specific analytics and 24-hour fleet monitoring capabilities, is designed to enhance safety, efficiency and environmental compliance. The integration of LOREKA360° adds another layer of intelligence to this ecosystem.
“Accelleron’s complementary digital offer will add further value to Vessellink users, and users of LOREKA360° will find opportunities in integrating our state-of-the-art ship management system,” said Sang-Bong Lee, CEO of LAB021. “We are excited to join Accelleron in working towards a more holistic, integrated approach to digitalisation that allows ship operators to use each platform to its full advantage.”
For Accelleron, the partnership reinforces its focus on delivering practical digital tools that connect performance, efficiency and environmental goals for ship operators in one of the world’s most advanced maritime markets.
