In an update on Egyptian ports, correspondent Eldib Pandi has included a notice issued by the Alexandria Port Authority concerning the decision to govern control over the outer anchorage area.
Referring all shipping agents to Decree No. 2699 (issued in 2019), the authority stated that vessels would be subject to fees if it failed to notify the port authority that it would drop anchor in the outer anchorage area, whether due to an emergency or otherwise.
