John Wilson will be leaving his role as Director of Technical Services at the American Club’s managers’ Hong Kong office to return with his family to his native UK, effective August 11th.
Wilson spent the 15 of a 40-year career at sea before coming ashore to live and work in Hong Kong 25 years ago. He joined the Hong Kong management team in 2014 to provide technical assistance to both the American Club’s Members and its Eagle Ocean Marine (EOM) Insureds.
American Club has announced that Captain Gautam Ramaswamy, the current Director of Regulatory Affairs for the Hong Kong Shipowners Association, will be joining American Club’s Hong Kong office as the new Director of Technical Services later in the year.
Capt Ramaswamy, a master mariner, began his maritime career in 2000 and currently serves as Secretary of the Ship Insurance and Liability Committee (SILC) of the Asian Shipowners’ Association.
