Capital Ship Management Corp has taken delivery of its latest tanker newbuilding Amore Mio, a VLCC with an ABS ammonia fuel ready notification
The 300,000-dwt VLCC newbuilding from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries is the first of two ammonia and LNG fuel ready sister ships to be delivered in 2022 to Capital Ship Management Corp.
The vessels are Tier III compliant for reduced NOx emissions, assigned ABS ENVIRO notation as well as ABS ammonia fuel ready and LNG fuel ready notations and are equipped with the IHM notation for safe recycling
The VLCC is also scrubber-equipped and ranks as one of the environmentally friendly, technologically advanced and efficient vessels in the global VLCC fleet.
Capital Ship Management Corp fleet comprises 37 tankers (12 VLCCs, 13 Aframaxes, 11 MR/Handy product tankers and 1 small tanker) of an approximate total 5.7M dwt.
