As part of the BALTEXPO 2025 international exhibition, a working visit was made by a delegation from the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) and the Odesa branch of the USPA to the Port of Gdansk (Poland). The Ukrainian delegation learned about the operations of one of the most dynamically developing ports in the EU, visited the waters and infrastructure facilities, including the Baltic Hub container terminal, which is expanding to a throughput capacity of 4.5 million TEUs.

During the meeting, the parties discussed areas for further cooperation. The Ukrainian side shared its experience of operating ports under martial law and challenging security conditions, while the Polish side presented its development strategy for the Port of Gdansk through 2060, as well as approaches to international cooperation and integration into European logistics chains.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to continue working on a Memorandum of Cooperation between the sister ports of Odesa and Gdansk. This document will serve as the basis for developing partnerships and implementing joint projects in port operations and logistics.
