D’Angelo: it will allow the country to take a further step forward
“As ANSI – Integrated Logistics, we have always emphasized the importance of virtuous paths regarding legality and safety in logistics contracts. The final approval of the Infrastructure decree brings with it a novelty we have always believed in: the Informative Dashboard for the management of procurement contracts between private entities in logistics (CIGAL). The adoption of such a tool was a long-awaited turning point in the sector and strongly advocated by the federative entities we are part of.” This was stated by Andrea D’Angelo, president of the employer association ANSI – Integrated Logistics, highlighting that “those aspects related to transparency and correctness of fiscal and contribution obligations are crucial. We—he specified—had already taken this direction in practice, for example by adhering to the ‘Memorandum of Understanding for the Legality of Procurement Contracts in the Logistics Sector,’ promoted by the Prefecture of Milan alongside partners such as the Lombardy Region, the Court of Milan, the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, the Polytechnic University of Milan, other employer associations, confederal trade unions, and the Metropolitan Area Inspectorate. Now—D’Angelo emphasized—there is a general-purpose tool that will allow the country and one of its key sectors to take a further step forward, even from an international perspective.
