According to AsstrA analysts, China’s foreign trade demonstrated steady growth from January to July 2025, driven by exports, particularly in the high-tech and industrial sectors. The main drivers were shipments of integrated circuits, automobiles, and electrical and mechanical engineering equipment. Meanwhile, imports of raw materials and agricultural products declined, reflecting China’s strategic shift toward developing domestic high-tech manufacturing and reducing its dependence on external resources.

Significant changes also occurred in the geography of trade: China expanded cooperation with the EU and ASEAN countries, while trade with the US fell sharply. In July, the country’s industrial sector demonstrated a 5.7% year-on-year increase in value added, increasing production in 35 of 41 key industries. The largest increases were seen in the production of transport equipment, electronics, automobiles, metallurgy, and chemicals.

AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG actively supports the development of these areas, offering comprehensive logistics solutions for high-tech, industrial, and consumer goods. The company’s global network allows it to quickly adapt to market changes and provide optimal routes between China and global markets, supporting its clients’ international business growth.
