BOLLORE Logistics USA has appointed Marc Sawaya as its new chief executive as the firm looks to build on ‘positive growth’.
Mr Sawaya will report to bollore Logistics chief executive for the Americas Yves Laforgue and has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain management, including 10 with Bollore Logistics.
At the company he successively held the positions of regional director for central region in Canada and sales director for the Americas.
‘He has also largely contributed to the sales development of Bollore Logistics in the Americas region by relying on its main verticals such as aerospace, pharmaceuticals and luxury,’ the logistics firm said in a press release.
‘I am delighted that Marc Sawaya will take on the role of chief executive USA, and I look forward seeing him accompany our teams and support the company in its next major growth phases,’ said Yves Laforgue.
Mr Sawaya’s mission will be to support the company’s strategy and promote its development by ‘prioritising customer needs and he will support the upskilling of employees while balancing the teams’, he said.
