Bulk carrier LEROS I is stuck in Venezuela since early January this year, 18 crew including 13 Russians and 5 Indonesians, is supposed to prepare the ship for planned repairs and sale. No wages paid, no supplies, no food – for a long time. Ship’s agent behavior is strange and unexplainable, he is doing nothing to assist crew. All calls to local authorities, Russian consulate and ITF didn’t bring in any respond. Crew is desperate.
