In this market, new orders fell by -13%
In the second quarter of 2025, revenues of the French classification and certification company Bureau Veritas (BV) in the Marine & Offshore segment amounted to €141.8 million, an increase of +9.8% compared to the same period last year. During the quarter, new orders for the company in this market segment totaled approximately 4.0 million gross tons, a decline of -13%. As of June 30, the BV-classed fleet stood at 156.4 million GT (+3.1%), and on the same date, the orderbook was 31.9 million GT (+23%).
In the first six months of this year, revenues in the Marine & Offshore segment amounted to €278.0 million, an increase of +10.6% compared to the first half of 2024. During this period, new orders totaled 7.9 million gross tons (+7%).
