According to the statement made by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, during the meeting, besides the situation in Syria, the Ukraine-Russia war and the establishment of safe corridors for grain export in the Black Sea were iscussed.Emphasizing that he attaches importance to the extension of the cross-border mechanism in Syria during the meeting, Erdoğan stated that it is time to take action regarding the United Nations’ plan to establish safe corridors for grain export in the Black Sea.Reiterating that the war between Ukraine and Russia should be ended with a lasting and just peace, through negotiations, President Erdoğan stated that as Turkey, they are ready to make every possible contribution to the revitalization of the negotiation process.
