World’s largest cruise company included on Forbes’ annual listing of best U.S. companies for women, underscoring its commitment to creating attractive maritime career pathways for growing talent streams

Carnival Corporation & plc, the world’s largest cruise company, earned a spot on the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for Women for 2025, underscoring the company’s approach to fostering an environment of inclusion and belonging where all employees can succeed. Of the 700 U.S. companies honored on the annual list across 24 major industries, Carnival Corporation was the highest-ranked cruise-specific company and in the top 25% of companies overall.

This latest honor as a top employer is the most recent in a series of recognitions Carnival Corporation has secured for its companywide operations and commitment to creating career opportunities for populations historically less widely employed in maritime careers, such as women. The company’s investments in building a maritime workforce have resulted in its recruitment team attracting the best talent from every culture, background, experience and walk of life.

Presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., a leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider, America’s Best Employers for Women were determined through an independent survey of over 140,000 women working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in the U.S. Over 4 million employer evaluations were considered through the survey, which was conducted periodically over the past three years. Employees were given the chance to evaluate previous employers, employers in their respective industries and employers they know through friends and family who work there. They were also asked to rate current employers in several areas important to all employees, including those with families.

“At Carnival Corporation, we understand that our people are our greatest strength, so we lead with intention to attract the best talent and cultivate growing labor streams by prioritizing career growth, mentorship, and a culture where every person feels seen, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential,” said Bettina Deynes, global chief human resources officer for Carnival Corporation. “We’re proud to be recognized for fostering a workplace that supports, equips, and inspires every team member to deliver unforgettable happiness to almost 13.5 million people by providing extraordinary cruise vacations.”

Over the years, Carnival Corporation has consistently earned awards and recognition that reinforce its reputation as a top employer. Among its numerous awards, the company was recognized as one of the World’s Most Admired Companies for 2025 by Fortune and captured a spot on the Wall Street Journal’s Management Top 250, recognizing the company as one of the Best-Managed Companies of 2024.
