China Development Bank Financial Leasing (CDB Leasing) has announced a sale and leaseback deal with George Procopiou for three LNG carriers (200,000 cu m) under construction in South Korea.
The agreement is worth up to USD 596.5 million.
Vessels are currently scheduled for delivery from Hyundai Heavy Industries in November 2023, December 2023 and February 2024, respectively.
Prokopiou’s companies have an option to buy back the ships after the lease expires in 10 years.
