Daniel Boulud has created his first restaurant at sea, Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud
Celebrity Cruises is to launch new dining venues onboard its newest ship, Celebrity Beyond, in a collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud, interior designer Nate Berkus and alcohol company Diageo.
Boulud, who is also Celebrity’s global culinary ambassador, has created his first restaurant at sea, Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud. The venue is inspired by the concept of travel, with a menu featuring dishes from across the world. Its interiors have been designed byJouinManku, the design firm responsible for the Jules Verne restaurant in the Eiffel Tower and the Grand Plaza atthe centre of Celebrity Beyond.The restaurant will feature soft tones, private banquette seating with textured and graphically lit glass flutes, and a dedicated entrance and exit. All guests to Le Voyage will also receive afarewell giftat the end of their visit.

Interior designer Berkus, Celebrity Cruises’ design ambassador, is continuing his partnership with the cruise line by designing the two-storey Sunset Bar on the aft of the ship. Working in collaboration with architect Tom Wright, Berkus has created a space nearly twice as large as previous iterations of the venue. The bar comprises of two open-air decks and a pergola covered entrance, and guests can sit either at a u-shaped bar or innicheswith daybeds.
Celebrity Beyond will alsofeature the World Class Bar, where guests can order bespoke cocktails which are made in front of them by a mixologist. The venuewas developedin partnership with Diageo, which will bring a range of beverage brands to Celebrity Cruises’ bars.
Several existing venues onboard the ship will also be redesigned as part of the work. Celebrity has collaborated with Chicago interior design firm Simeone Deary to update the Cyprus Restaurant with a new design inspired by the Ancient Greek goddess Aphrodite, combining airy elements with gold sculptural accents.
British interior designer Kelly Hoppenwill also bring a new aesthetic to several venues, including the Rooftop Grill, Café alBacioand the Mast Bar on the ship’s resort deck.All three spaces have been expandedand redesigned.In total, there will be 32 food and beveragevenuesonboard Celebrity Beyond, including 15 restaurants, five cafés and 12 bars and lounges.
