Celeste Thomasson and Pascale Dubois join Geodis executive board

Geodis has appointed two women to its executive board, which makes it 25% female – against an international average of 12%, according to Deloitte.

Celeste Thomasson, pictured left, becomes executive vice-president and general counsel for the group. She has board experience, as general counsel for Safran USA, followed by a role as president and CEO of MorphoTrak and as a board member of Zodiac Aerospace. She became CEO of Safran Seats UK in 2019 and EVP for the group the following year.

Pascale Dubois, a former journalist, was also at Safran Group, as head of communications and philanthropy, before becoming an executive committee member in 2015.

Geodis, whose workforce is 40% women, pledged in 2020 that 25% of its leadership positions would be held by women by 2023. It formed an internal women’s network for both genders to contribute to gender equality, and to promote actions that encourage women to make a career choice in logistics and transport.
