Chaco: customs zone temporarily enabled at the YPF Barranqueras dock

Must read

The Subdirectorate General of Inland Customs Operations authorized through Resolution 68/2025 the provisional approval of a customs operational zone at the dock of YPF S.A. located at kilometer 7 of the Riacho Barranqueras, at the level of km 1197 of the Paraná River, in Chaco.

The measure allows, for now, the performance of unloading operations for removed liquid fuels under the jurisdiction of the Barranqueras Customs Division, while the process for the definitive approval of the so-called Barranqueras Dock is completed in accordance with Law 24.093 on Port Activities.

Technical Endorsement

The authorization is supported by the certificate issued by the Technical Coordination Management of the National Ports and Navigation Agency (ANPyN), which confirmed that the dock is a pre-existing port falling under Article 9 of the law and that it has infrastructure conditions suitable for foreign trade operations, with no technical objections to its provisional use.

The granting was also based on the endorsement of the Barranqueras Customs and the Northeast Regional Customs Directorate, and will remain in effect until the applicable port authority reports modifications to the current conditions.

The decision constitutes a further step in the regularization and modernization of the port and customs infrastructure of northeastern Argentina, a key region for river transport and fuel distribution.
