The Heze (Dongming) Inland Port of Shandong Port Group (SPG) was inaugurated, becoming the 55th inland port launched by the group and marking a milestone in its efforts to expand inland markets and strengthen logistics connectivity with China’s inland regions.
Dongming County is located in southwestern Shandong, in the central area of the lower Yellow River, and boasts excellent geographical and transportation advantages. Besides being a key point for the national strategy of ecological protection and high-quality development in that river’s basin, it also serves as a key node connecting the Central Plains Economic Region and the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone.
The collaboration between SPG and Heze has a long and solid history. In 2016, the group launched intermodal rail services and established the Caoxian Inland Port, a clear example of progress and promotion of close cooperation. Since then, both parties have deepened their collaboration and achieved fruitful results in the development of logistics corridors and industrial collaboration.
The recent inauguration of the Heze (Dongming) Inland Port will inject new momentum into bilateral cooperation, further optimize the allocation of regional logistics resources, reduce operating costs for enterprises, and drive high-quality regional economic growth.
In the future, SPG will leverage its own advantages to deepen collaboration with Heze enterprises, continuously expand its logistics service network, and improve logistics services. By offering customized and professional logistics solutions, it will support enterprises in their market expansion and competitiveness enhancement, working jointly to open a new chapter of mutually beneficial cooperation.
