Starting in 2026, the service will be expanded with new port calls, greater reefer capacity, and a renewed feeder network in the Antilles
Marseille – The Cma Cgm group has announced a major enhancement of the Nefwi service (North Europe – French West Indies), known internally as Pcrf, which will come into effect from January 2026. The goal is to improve reliability, expand regional coverage, and increase loading capacity to meet growing market demand.
The service will increase from six to seven ships, all equipped with greater reefer capacity for the transport of refrigerated goods. The new rotation will include two new calls: Puerto Antioquia (active from November 2025, with the opening of the terminal) and Rotterdam. The new port sequence will be: Dunkerque – London – Rotterdam – Antwerp – Le Havre – Fort-de-France – Pointe-à-Pitre – Kingston – Puerto Antioquia – Puerto Moin – Cartagena – Santa Marta – Fort-de-France – Pointe-à-Pitre. The updated service will guarantee optimized arrivals at the beginning of the week to efficiently serve the markets of Martinique and Guadeloupe, focusing on refrigerated traffic from Costa Rica, Colombia, Central America, and the French Antilles to Europe.
In parallel, the French giant will launch the new Hub Antilles, supported by its investments in the ports of Martinique and Guadeloupe, to improve feeder operations in the region. As part of this strategy, a new feeder service will be introduced, connecting Guatemala and Honduras directly to Pointe-à-Pitre, integrating with the Nefwi service and offering more competitive transit times to and from Northern Europe.
With this initiative, Cma Cgm reinforces its commitment to the development of traffic between Europe and the Caribbean, supporting the growth of regional trade with a more modern, efficient, and sustainable service offering.
