French carrier CMA CGM has opted to extend an emergency surcharge introduced by several container carriers in response to high oil prices.
Due to continued high oil prices, French carrier CMA CGM will extend its controversial emergency fuel surcharge, announced the container company Thursday. The measure was first introduced from June 1 and July 1.
