CMA CGM Group will now deploy two of the nine ships on the Shaka 2 service, which the French carrier operates jointly with its partners.
In addition to CMA CGM Don Pascuale, the Marseille-based company will gradually introduce CMA CGM La Scala, which has a nominal capacity of 8,500 TEU.
CMA CGM Scala is expected to launch its first sailing under Shaka 2 service’s rotation on 30 September.
The current rotation will remain unchanged: Shanghai (China) – Ningbo (China) – Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia) – Port Louis (Mauritius) – Durban (South Africa) – Tanjung Pelepas – Hong Kong – Shanghai.
