Terntank has announced the delivery of the M/T Tern Vik, the first vessel in its new Hybrid Solution Plus series, equipped with wind-assisted propulsion and a methanol-ready engine.
Delivered on April 22, 2025, from the China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng, the M/T Tern Vik represents a significant step toward sustainable shipping practices. The vessel is equipped with advanced technologies including wind-assisted propulsion, a methanol-ready engine, a hybrid battery system, and a shore power connection.
As informed, following its delivery, the M/T Tern Vik will operate between Southeast Asia and Northern Europe before entering a long-term charter with NEOT, contributing to their climate-conscious logistics efforts.
