The cruise ship, Coral Princess, had 2000 passengers on board and finally docked in Brisbane after being stuck at sea for two additional days.
The ship was scheduled to dock on Friday (morning) but could not, owing to wild weather.
The cruise ship had experienced its share of inconveniences after 150 individuals on board tested COVID positive. These infected members were compelled to isolate themselves in their rooms last week.
On Sunday, the passengers were excited to get off the ship but remained positive regarding their experience.
One passenger mentioned that they were happy to be off the wild seas.
Another added that they had a good time and were looked after – like they always are.
Despite the chaos, this has hardly done anything to deter the confidence ahead of the following cruise season.
The Coral Princess is the only cruise ship accessing the Port of Brisbane in July, but by November this year, seven more will be going and coming.
In December 2022, there will be two more ships.
