He noted that “we have a significant increase for another year, which is projected to reach 15%.”
Regarding the geopolitical conditions in the region, he stated that “Greece must remain a safe destination for cruises and tourism in general,” and specifically, the country must turn not only to recreation, but also to the repair of cruise ships, as every cruise ship that is repaired spends 5 to 10 million euros”.
Finally, he pointed out the problem that exists with supplies, as “the ships come to Greece but buy products from other European countries,” and this is something that damages the Greek cruise industry.
