(Dalian) reached a historic milestone: since its establishment in July 1984, the cumulative number of main engines delivered has reached 1,500, with a total power exceeding 30 million horsepower. This figure not only represents a leap in production scale but also stands as a testament to the company’s four decades of dedication to the marine power industry.

– In July 1984, the company’s first main engine—the 6RLB76#1—won the High-Quality Product Award from the China State Shipbuilding Corporation.
– In July 1986, the 5L80MCE engine was awarded the National Gold Medal for Quality.
– In October 1991, the 5RTA52 main engine exported to Germany marked China’s first direct export of large marine main engines to foreign countries.
– In March 1993, the company achieved its first cumulative million horsepower in engine production.
– In August 2005, the world’s first electronically controlled common rail 7RTflex58T-B main engine was successfully delivered, heralding the replacement of traditional models with intelligent engines.
– In June 2007, China’s first 8K90MC-C ultra-heavy main engine was successfully delivered, ending the era of complete reliance on imports for ultra-heavy main engines.
