(Dalian) reached a historic milestone: since its establishment in July 1984, the cumulative number of main engines delivered has reached 1,500, with a total power exceeding 30 million horsepower. This figure not only represents a leap in production scale but also stands as a testament to the company’s four decades of dedication to the marine power industry.
Over the past 40 years, all employees have consistently upheld the courage to “dare to be the first in the world” and the perseverance to “cling unyieldingly to the mountain,” striving tirelessly and forging ahead. The marine engines produced have maintained world-leading standards, boasting superior economic performance, safe and reliable operation, and optimal operational parameters, fully meeting the stringent demands of various complex maritime conditions on ship power.

– In July 1984, the company’s first main engine—the 6RLB76#1—won the High-Quality Product Award from the China State Shipbuilding Corporation.
– In July 1986, the 5L80MCE engine was awarded the National Gold Medal for Quality.
– In October 1991, the 5RTA52 main engine exported to Germany marked China’s first direct export of large marine main engines to foreign countries.
– In March 1993, the company achieved its first cumulative million horsepower in engine production.
– In August 2005, the world’s first electronically controlled common rail 7RTflex58T-B main engine was successfully delivered, heralding the replacement of traditional models with intelligent engines.
– In June 2007, China’s first 8K90MC-C ultra-heavy main engine was successfully delivered, ending the era of complete reliance on imports for ultra-heavy main engines.
– In June 2014, China’s first environmentally friendly W6X72 main engine was smoothly delivered, winning favor from shipowners for its green features and low-cost operation.
– In July 2021, the world’s first onboard SCR marine low-speed engine, the CSSC WinGD X52, was officially launched, enhancing China’s voice and influence in the international low-speed marine engine sector and marking the full commercialization of the world’s first onboard SCR low-speed diesel engine independently developed by China.
– In September 2022, the world’s first 9X92-B HP-SCR ultra-large low-speed marine main engine was successfully delivered, elevating the company’s R&D and market competitiveness in green, ultra-large low-speed marine main engines to new heights.

To date, the company has delivered nearly 20 methanol dual-fuel main engines of various types, becoming the first domestic manufacturer with the capability for sustained delivery of methanol dual-fuel low-speed engines.
