The new ultra-luxury cruise ship Four Seasons I, under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona, will debut on the market later than originally planned, thus skipping its inaugural season in the Caribbean. The inaugural voyage was scheduled for January 25 next year in the Caribbean with the start of seven-day itineraries, followed by a repositioning to the Mediterranean from March 2026.
According to the latest announcement from the new cruise company, the 95-suite ship will instead make its debut directly in the Mediterranean in March.
From a communication by Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, co-owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, the following was learned: “After careful evaluation, we have made the strategic decision to begin our exciting inaugural season in the Mediterranean, rather than the Caribbean.” Customers already booked and affected by the schedule change will be offered a “range of customized options”; the company added that it remains “committed to delivering an unparalleled sailing experience.”
Four Seasons I waslaunched last Januaryandits sea trials were scheduled for July, with delivery originally planned for November.
Last May, Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings confirmed the order for its second yacht, with delivery expected in 2027 and departures planned for 2028 (one year later than initially announced by the company).
