Icaria for Workboat offers to guide users through the transition from paper to digital rope health management and to enable users to getting the most life from their lines without impacting safety.

The suite will help workboat and tug owners to track line usage and maintenance, document damage, and provide data for deciding when to retire lines.

The inspection features of the suite assist in regulatory compliance and safety documentation, while automatic report generation enables users to make informed decisions based on inspection results.

The mobile app also features an augmented reality measuring guide to record line damage, offline capabilities for use in remote areas, and radio-frequency identification tags scanning for ropes fitted with Samson’s Intellitag technology.

Advanced review from Samson experts can also be requested using the app, which is available for devices with iOS, Android, and Windows operating systems.

Samson’s Connect online portal includes inspection details, fleet analysis, data management, trend analysis, line-life predictions, and rope condition visibility.

It enables users to view details on upcoming maintenance and share pre-port acceptance reports.
