Must read

DOF Group, a prominent Norwegian offshore vessel owner, has announced a series of lucrative contracts in North America, totaling over $60 million. These agreements will secure more than 300 vessel days for various operations, including subsea, mooring, and walk-to-work tasks. The projects will utilize vessels already stationed in the region, highlighting the company’s strategic positioning and operational readiness.

Among the notable contracts, the anchor handling vessel Skandi Skansen has been assigned to a mooring project offshore Guyana, set to commence in October 2025. This project is expected to last approximately six weeks, with options for extension, indicating potential for further engagement in the region.

Additionally, the subsea construction vessel Skandi Implementer has secured two significant projects in Mexico. These jobs, which focus on subsea cable repair and installation, are scheduled for the final quarter of 2025 and will span over two months. This marks a critical step for DOF Group as it continues to expand its footprint in the North American market.

Furthermore, the US-flagged vessel Cade Candies will support walk-to-work operations off the US East Coast, beginning in the second quarter of 2026. This contract is set to last around eight months, with options for extension, further solidifying DOF’s presence in the region.

DOF’s Chief Executive, Mons Aase, expressed satisfaction with the new contracts, emphasizing the strong momentum in the region. He noted that the Skandi Implementer has been continuously active in North America since the termination of its previous long-term contract in Mexico earlier this year. This development underscores DOF Group’s commitment to leveraging its assets effectively in a competitive market.
