DP World is “casting its nets” in Africa as well

Must read

The African continent constitutes an emerging pole of investment attraction for various sectors. Among these is shipping, and by extension investments for the enhancement of port infrastructure across Africa. In this context, DP World announced, through a post on social media, that it is constructing the first port of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which will have the capacity to accommodate deep-draft vessels.

In this way, the path for trade is opened wide, both with the Democratic Republic of the Congo and more broadly with countries of Central Africa. According to DP World, the Banana Port, as the port will be called, will have the capacity to handle up to 450,000 containers annually.

The African continent, with the support of companies such as DP World in this instance, has set a course for securing resilient economic growth.
