JANUARY 19, 2016 — Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc., Panama City, FL, recently launched the M/V Harvey Stone (Hull 234) for Harvey Gulf International Marine, LLC of New Orleans, LA, in a ceremony held at its Allanton Shipyard.
The Harvey Stone is a Rampage 6400 multi-purpose field support vessel (MPFSV), designed by Robert Allan, Ltd. of Vancouver, BC.
In addition to the Harvey Stone, Eastern is also building to Vard-designed MPSVs for Harvey Gul: the Harvey Sub-Sea and the Harvey Blue-Sea, the first of which is expected to deliver in 2016.
Eastern has delivered eleven vessels previously to Harvey Gulf, including offshore supply vessels, light construction vessels and ocean service tugs.
