The Consortium of the Barcelona Free Trade Zone (CZFB) received the FEmImpacte 2025 award in the category that recognizes the impact of a public-private collaboration project. Promoted by the Business Association of L’Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat (Aeball), this award has recognized the District 4.0 project promoted by the CZFB, which is generating added value to the socioeconomic development of the territory through strategic alliances, innovative cooperation models and high-impact joint actions. Within District 4.0 we find DFactory Barcelona as the nerve center, with 40 installed companies that make up one of the largest industry 4.0 ecosystems in Europe.

Iñaki Garcia Bernis, financial and investment director of the Consortium, was responsible for collecting the FEmImpacte 2025 award. In the same category as the CZFB, Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport and Prologis Spain were also finalists. During the event, companies and entities that have generated a greater economic impact (SEAT), social impact (Es Imp-Perfect Food), cultural impact (Xaloc School) and impact in sustainability (Schneider Electric) were also recognized, as well as the impact of a public entity in relation to companies (Viladecans City Council).
