Danish offshore support vessel owner is installing software on its ships to streamline reporting processes and optimise digital reporting
Esvagt is deploying software on its nine service operations vessels (SOVs) which support offshore windfarm commissioning and maintenance.
This smart fleet management (SFM) tool, from France-headquartered Spinergie, will optimise reporting processes and remove administrative burdens on its crews. It offers a simplified digital reporting procedure that is accessible from tablets for easy use offshore and can integrate data into reports from various sources, automatically populating the reporting fields and quality checking the data.
In an initial implementation stage, SFM on Esvagt vessels will use onboard GPS systems and weather data to provide navigational information in the digital reports.
