Recently, EverbrightFinancialLeasing delivered three VLGCs to customers in the form of financial leasing, with the leasing amount exceeding US $180 million, and the fourth ship is scheduled to be delivered at the beginning of 2023.
This project is the first time that Everbright Financial Leasing has carried out VLGC ship leasing business. The charterer is an overseas joint venture of a central enterprise and adopts Tianjin Dongjiang offshore leasing structure.
Since 2021, Everbright Financial Leasing has been planning the ship leasing business. The leasing fleet has reached 25 ships, with a total scale equivalent to 4.5 billion yuan. The main types of ships are bulk carriers and gas carriers.
