Everllence debuts with its new brand image at Marintec China 2025
The 2025 China International Maritime Technology Academic Conference and Exhibition (Marintec China) was grandly held in Shanghai from December 2nd to 5th. Everllence, a global leader in the maritime field, participated deeply in this year’s exhibition with its new brand image. Through a series of initiatives including brand renewal activities, multi-domain strategic signings, innovative solution showcases, and cutting-edge technology sharing, the company comprehensively conveyed its firm commitment to zero-carbon development, consolidated consensus on cooperation with global industry partners, and injected strong momentum into the green transformation of the shipping industry. This participation not only demonstrated the company’s solid technical capabilities but also solidified its core participatory role in the global maritime green ecosystem.
As a core highlight of this exhibition, Everllence held a significant brand renewal ceremony at its booth. Since the global brand upgrade this year, this marks another brilliant appearance and warm celebration by the company in China, leveraging an important industry platform. The new brand identity not only continues the globally unified core strategy of zero-carbon but also incorporates deep adaptation and commitment to the Chinese market. This signifies that Everllence will deepen its presence in the Chinese market with a more focused and professional approach, taking green technology innovation and digital development as its core development directions, providing full-chain low-carbon support for the industry, and fully demonstrating its firm ambition to grow together with the Chinese market and lead the industry’s sustainable development.
During the exhibition, Everllence actively expanded its cooperation landscape, achieving fruitful results. It reached strategic cooperation with several leading Chinese enterprises in diverse fields such as green power, digitalization, and talent cultivation, comprehensively showcasing its profound accumulation in promoting the green transformation of the shipping industry.
• Signed important sub-agreements with China Classification Society (CCS): Based on the “Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Decarbonization and Digitalization in the Maritime Field” between the two parties, two latest sub-agreements were formally signed: the NOx Certification Package and the NOx Certification for Retrofit Engines. This further solidifies the cooperation foundation, helping the industry meet stricter regulatory requirements and thereby accelerating the green transformation process of the maritime industry. Prior to the signing ceremony, Mr. Zhao Yan, President of CCS, held high-level talks with Dr. Uwe Lauber, CEO of Everllence.
• Signed an agreement with Hong Kong Haitong Co., Ltd.: Reached a two-year cooperation agreement for turbochargers and ETB fans, focusing on the Chinese two-stroke engine market. It aims to fully leverage the advantages of both parties in technology, market, and service to jointly explore the Chinese market and provide customers with more efficient and environmentally friendly solutions.
• Renewed four-stroke license business with CSSC Power (Group) Co., Ltd. subsidiary CSSC Power Zhenjiang Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. (Zhenchai) and China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd.: As Everllence’s largest global four-stroke engine license partner, Zhenchai renewed a ten-year four-stroke license business agreement with Everllence. This renewal consolidates the deep foundation of long-term cooperation between the two parties, and deeper cooperation in areas such as technology upgrades and market expansion is anticipated in the future.
• Reached a training cooperation agreement with Eltronic FuelTech: Everllence PrimeServ Shanghai Training Academy collaborated with Eltronic FuelTech to jointly create an advanced dual-fuel training program tailored for marine engineers. This cooperation meticulously designed professional training modules covering methanol Gas Valve Train (GVT) and Fuel Valve Train (FVT), ensuring trainees can deeply master the practical essence of next-generation fuel technologies. This move demonstrates the firm commitment of both parties to promoting sustainable maritime solutions.
• Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Wallem Ship Management Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.: Everllence PrimeServ Shanghai Training Academy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Wallem Ship Management Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., aiming to promote the development of marine engineers through training, knowledge exchange, and sustainable innovation. The cooperation will focus on practical skill cultivation, certification support, and promoting digitalization and environmentally friendly practices. Both parties aim to jointly shape the future of maritime services through continuous learning and technological advancement.
Dr. Uwe Lauber, CEO of Everllence, stated: “Green shipping has become an irreversible development trend in the global maritime industry, and the Chinese market holds a pivotal position in this transformation process. We look forward to jointly addressing the challenges of shipping decarbonization through technological innovation and industry collaboration, building a sustainable and highly efficient maritime ecosystem, and contributing professional strength to the achievement of global carbon neutrality goals.”
Sarath Prasannan, Senior Vice President of Everllence and Head of Asia Pacific, added: “We share a deep bond with China. Over more than a century of dedicated presence, we have rooted our Asia Pacific headquarters here, consistently regarding China as a core strategic market. This exhibition provided us with a communication platform to listen to local needs. We adhere to combining globally leading technologies with the actual needs of China’s shipping industry, deeply aligning with China’s new quality productive forces and high-quality development strategy. Through value co-creation, we aim to assist the industry’s transformation and upgrading and the realization of the ‘dual carbon’ goals.”
Furthermore, Everllence created an immersive booth with an ecological green theme at this year’s exhibition and meticulously planned multiple expert sharing sessions focusing on topics such as green engine technology, digital applications, and industry development trends, providing attendees with a communication platform combining theoretical depth and practical value.
