Over the weekend, the floating dock, which has been a part of Hirtshals Harbor for nearly 40 years, was towed away with a course set for Estonia.
The floating dock, which was brought to Hirtshals from Germany in 1987, was put up for sale when the activities at Hirtshals Yard last year became Vestkajens Maskinværksted.
After lengthy negotiations, the floating dock was sold to ARC Repair in Estonia, which set off towing the dock on Saturday.
