From record to record American LNG exports

Must read

U.S. LNG exports set a monthly record for the second consecutive month, a result of colder weather and a significant increase in production from the country’s two top producers.

Specifically, according to LSEG data, the U.S. exported 10.9 million metric tons of LNG compared to 10.1 million metric tons in October. Cheniere Energy increased its exports to 4.6 million metric tons from its two plants in Texas, compared to 4.1 million metric tons in October. Venture Global LNG’s exports remained steady at 3 million metric tons.

The rapid increase in LNG exports pushed U.S. natural gas demand for liquefaction to the record level of 18 billion cubic feet per day in November.
