With the effect of 1 April 2025, until advised otherwise, the following surcharge will be invoiced for each Metric Ton / Freight Ton loaded or discharged at RAK Ports:
• 0.12 AED Per Metric Ton / Freight Ton
The formula used to generate this surcharge rate calculates the average fuel purchase price per litre vs. the average fuel consumed per ton loaded or discharged, against the published UAE average monthly fuel purchase price. The latter is routinely published on or after the 28th day of each month.
