Shipping Industry News, French GEODIS International Group recently announced that it has strengthened its digital collaboration with Hapag-Lloyd by deploying a direct digital connection to exchange pricing and service data in real-time.
GEODIS stated that the core of this cooperation is to obtain Hapag-Lloyd’s data on pricing, surcharges, transit times, and services in real-time through an API. Thanks to this new integration, GEODIS can now access over 75% of Hapag-Lloyd’s pricing, surcharge, transit time, and service data in real-time, significantly reducing manual input and improving operational accuracy.
GEODIS pointed out that the transition from a previous processing time of up to 5 days to real-time data exchange marks a significant improvement in the responsiveness and efficiency of the entire supply chain.
