Greek July current account surplus widens, tourism revenue jumps

Greece’s current account surplus rose in July compared to the same month last year while tourism revenue increased, the Bank of Greece said on Tuesday.

Central bank data showed the current account surplus was 1.104 billion euros ($1.11 billion) from 0.57 billion euros in July 2021.
