The discussion confirmed the substantial upgrade of Greece – Saudi Arabia relations in recent years, through successive, high-level contacts and the enhancement of the strategic cooperation between the two countries.
A central topic was the traditional mutual support of candidacies at the IMO. Particular emphasis was placed on safeguarding maritime security in the Red Sea.
The two sides expressed their common will for the further enhancement of cooperation in the sectors of shipping, ports and cruising, paving the way for new developmental steps
