On December 15, the second 174,000 m3 large-scale LNG carrier “WU DANG” built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding and China Shipbuilding Trading for COSCO Shipping and PetroChina International’s LNG transportation project was delivered.
“WU DANG” is a mainstream large LNG carrier in the world. It was independently developed and designed by Hudong-Zhonghua. It has a total length of 295 meters, a width of 45 meters, a depth of 26.25 meters, and a speed of 19.5 knots. It is classified into CCS.
“WU DANG” will operate on China-US routes. The delivery of the ship will further enhance the capacity of the fleet and inject “new energy” into the winter supply guarantee in the Yangtze River Delta region and even the whole country.
